However, being a lifelong angler means I fully understand what my lure is doing at all times and depths ( regardless of type ), whereas non anglers who just play the game for fun may depend on that indicator. I simply ignore the indicator and continued fishing as normal, with no change to my catch rates. Spoons also appear to stay midwater and then suddenly dive to the deck halfway through a retrieve.
